Development Update at College Crescent – 12/11/15

Oak flooring is being fitted to the 3rd floor studios and the kitchens
will be installed early next week.  The 2nd floor is now completely plastered and we are preparing the floor ready to lay the insulated board and heat matts etc.  On the 1st floor plasterboard has been fitted to the walls ready to be plastered next week.  All first fix electrical wiring has been completed on the ground floor and plasterboard is being fitted,  the electricians are now starting the 1st fix on the lower ground floor.

The Scaffolding has been removed from the rear of the property and all of the rendering has been painted.  Blockwork to the rear extension will be completed next week and plywood fitted to the flat roof area.

We have established that the front porch and balcony will have to be demolished and rebuilt, due to structural damage.  A solid timber frame has been fitted around the porch to add stability before being demolished.  An insurance claim has been submitted as most of the damage has been caused by the roots of a neighbouring tree.
